How does the TuneZip Affilliate Program work?
First, fill out the application form to apply for an affiliate account. If your application is successful, you will be granted an affiliate account and provided with banners and links you can use to direct potential customers to buy gift cards. You will then earn a referral fee on any purchases made by customers who make purchases through your banners or links.
How much will I earn?
Affiliates will earn a 5% referral fee on the net revenue from each sale made through their banners or links. For example, if one of your referrees buys a gift card for $60, approximately $2.40 will go to credit card processing fees, leaving a net revenue of about $57.60. Your commission on the sale would then be 5% of that figure, which comes to about $2.88. (Please keep in mind this is just a general example, the exact card processing fees vary depending on card type and other factors). When the customer returns to make subsequent purchases, the commission will be 3% of the net revenue. Since customers tend to keep coming back to buy new cards once they’ve used up their credit, every customer you refer that buys using your links has the potential to be a recurring revenue stream for you. So with a little work upfront you can find yourself earning automatic extra income each month.
When will I get paid?
There is a minimum payment threshold of $20, so your fees must acrrue to at least $20 before a payment is made. Referral fee payments will normally be paid on the last day of the month following the transaction. For example, referral fees of at least $20 earned on transactions completed during the month of August will be payable on September 30th. In cases where the last day of the month falls on a weekend or holiday, the commission payment may be made on the next following business day.
